Q&A
— Give a short overview of your career journey after school
Straight after school I started my apprenticeship with PPS Electical where I studied at lakes college for a year doing an Engineering Operatives course full time in college, this gave me a variety of knowledge of different trades in the engineering industry, this included electrical, mechanical, welding and fabrication. From this I decided that I like electrical the most so when that was completed I started my level 3 electrical maintenance course, I like electrical the most because of the broad range of practical there is in electrical, not only the practical side but I also enjoyed the theory side with my favourite subjects in school being maths and physics which is a lot of the theory in electrical.

Listening, Speaking, Staying Positive.
— What advice would you give to someone considering working in your industry?
I would tell them not to be afraid not to know something and to ask because this is how you learn.

That there are different ways to do something and get the same result, so try to listen and learn them all to see which one you like the best and find easiest to do.
