What does your job entail?
As a Transformation Programme Manager, I lead the delivery of key projects within the Council’s Transformation Plan, driving service redesign and cultural change in line with our corporate values.
I engage staff across service areas, ensuring a collaborative, business-partnering approach while researching and applying national best practices to shape innovative, customer-focused service models. Working closely with senior leaders, I challenge and support evidence-based decision-making, overseeing the implementation of transformation initiatives with clear governance and measurable impact.
I manage programme reporting, ensuring strategic alignment, timely progress updates, and proactive issue resolution. Passionate about fostering a culture of continuous improvement, I contribute to strategic planning, mentor colleagues, and create opportunities for wider teams to engage in transformational change, ensuring lasting benefits for the Council and the communities we serve.
Why did you join the Cumbria Talent Force?
I joined the Talent Force to help young people discover the incredible career opportunities available right here in Cumbria. The region offers a diverse range of industries and roles, many of which go unnoticed by those just starting their career journey.
